What is a Goldador?
A Loving Companion
Goldadors are a mix of two of the most well-loved dog breeds in the world, the AKC Golden Retriever and the AKC Labrador Retriever. They are the best of both worlds and make incredible family companions. They are highly sought out for service and therapy work, search and rescue dogs, law enforcement, as well as being excellent sporting and hunting dogs. This combination results in a beautiful family dog who loves its humans fiercely. They have a luxurious soft coat that is perfect to snuggle into. Goldadors love being a part of a family and thrive when incorporated into family adventures and routines. They are highly adaptable dogs who are eager-to-please. Their easy-going nature, sweet personality, and keen intelligence makes training a breeze creating the perfect opportunity for new dog owners and families with small children.
Meet the Breeder:
Welcome! I'm glad you're here! My name is Karin and I am excited to have your interest in our puppies. We are a family Goldador breeder in Lacey, Washington. We are dedicated to providing healthy, loving, family orientated pups. We strive to breed puppies with purpose. Each litter is carefully planned to produce quality pups that make exceptional family pets, ESA's (emotional support animals), and excellent service and therapy dog candidates. Ethical breeding practices are a top priority. Each parent undergoes genetic health testing, OFA testing, and temperament testing before breeding. All of our litters are born inside our loving home and raised using the BAB empowered service dog puppy curriculum. Our four homeschooled children are a huge part of our breeding program and help raise each litter. This ensures each of our puppies are well socialized with children ranging from preschool to teenager. We feel the combination of our unique homeschool lifestyle and using the BAB empowered service dog curriculum helps set our breeding program apart from others. We would be honored to help match you with the puppy of your dreams.
Our Story
We started breeding Goldadors because we wanted to share the loyalty, joy, love and affection that these amazing dogs bring to our lives. The power of a dog is infinite. They have the unique ability to bring comfort, hope, healing, and joy. In their unique way, they are able to heal hearts and save lives. As a retired nurse, I have seen firsthand the power a dog can have. The keen ability that service and therapy dogs have is truly immeasurable. It is our goal to provide our puppies with a solid foundation through our service dog curriculum of desensitization and meeting their innate developmental needs in order. This results in even-tempered puppies who have been exposed to a multitude of sights, sounds, environments, smells, ect and have been desensitized to create easy going family companions, ESA's, and prospective service and therapy dog candidates who will help spread joy, love, healing, and assistance to those in need.
